EAST KIRK 150th ANNIVERSARY - CALENDAR COMPETITION



	As part of the celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the opening Alford East Church in 1867, it has been decided to have a photographic competition to select pictures for a 2018 Calendar for Howe Trinity Church. All members and friends of Howe Trinity are welcome to participate, and the twelve successful photographs will be chosen by an independent group of suitably qualified persons. You are invited to submit a photograph or photographs for the calendar. Each photograph should include a note of the appropriate month or season; the location it was taken (which can be anywhere in the world); along with a an appropriate Bible text, line from a hymn, or similar; and your name (although the photos will be judged anonymously). You can view copies of a similar calendar produced by Greenbank Church in Edinburgh for 2016. These are available available either beside the pigeonholes at the foot of the stairs, or at the front vestibule of the church. Please don't remove these samples! The specification for the photographs to be submitted is as follows. 1. Photos to be digital images only. 2. Minimum size to be 300mm wide x 210mm high and at a good resolution 3. "Landscape" orientation only 4. Photographs to be emailed to howetrinitycalendar@gmail.com 5. Photographs to be submitted by 31st July 2017 6.
